Privacy and beta terms

What SmartEditHub keeps, and for how long

Other services that receive information
- Anthropic (the Claude AI). Only when you use the AI: when you approve an AI pass, still pictures taken from your video and the text it needs (your settings and notes, the campaign's rules and, if captions were made, the words spoken in the clip) are sent to Anthropic's API to be analysed. The same goes for your messages to Guided and questions you choose to ask the AI in Help. Your whole video file and its sound are not sent. Anthropic's own terms and privacy policy apply to what it receives: anthropic.com/legal.
- Hostinger provides the server where everything above is stored.
- Email isn't switched on during the private beta: your invitation comes from the owner directly, and so does any password-reset link you ask for. If SmartEditHub starts sending emails itself, this page will name the service it uses before it does.
- Captions are made in your own browser. Your sound stays on your device; the speech model is downloaded from jsDelivr and Hugging Face the first time you use it.
- Google Fonts provides the typefaces, so your browser contacts Google when pages load.
There's no advertising, no tracking or analytics, and nothing is sold. The owner can see your account number, your feedback and what your AI use cost, but not your password. The admin tools don't show your projects or videos.
Your choices
- Download your data at any time: Brands & accounts → Your account → Download my data.
- Delete your account there too. Your projects, files, feedback and stored AI answers are deleted, and your email, name and password are removed. What's kept is only the cost and security records above, under an account number.
- Ask us anything about your information using the contact above.
Beta terms
- This is a test version. Things may change, break or be reset, so keep your own copies of anything important, and download the clips you want to keep.
- Only upload footage you have the right to use, and follow each campaign's rules. You're responsible for what you post.
- The AI can be wrong or miss things. Check every clip before you post it.
- AI use is free for invited beta testers, within your own daily allowance (shown in the studio before each AI pass) and the allowance shared by everyone in the beta. When either is used up, the AI pauses until it resets; editing, saving and downloads keep working.
- Your access can end when the beta ends, or if it's misused.
